Security Council at TIMUN 2019.

The most essential responsibilities of all countries in the world are maintaining Peace and Justice and that is held internationally by UN Security Council!
The Security Council held its initial session on 17 January 1946, since then it has been operating with 5 permanent and 10 non-permanent members. It is the most powerful body of the UN that can legally pass binding resolutions with the most powerful weapon: diplomacy. For further information : http://www.un.org/en/sc/about/
The Security Council of Tashkent International Model United Nations Conference looks forward to motivated delegates with good political knowledge, since the topic is too controversial. “Humanitarian Crisis in Myanmar” is chosen as the most suitable topic to be simulated during the conference. The root of the debate points out a predominant Buddhist country – Myanmar denying the Rohingya citizenship by seeing them as illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. As a result, thousands of the Rohingya are obliged to escape from communal violence and abuses by security forces. All causes, consequences and effects of the world’s fastest growing refugee crisis will be discussed during the conference! Dear delegates, are you the one to be played or one to be a playmaker? The UNSC is looking forward all playmakers in TIMUN 2019.
